I know this is a long post, but please read on; I need advice.

After noticing an odd spot on my frillie's (Jack) frill, I decided to look closer. It looked like a bit of skin that never pulled off, although he was still in the process of shedding. However, since the rest of his upper body had finished shedding, I decided to assist and pulled the dead skin off. I was surprised and somewhat worried to see a scale-shaped hole there, surrounded by a small patch of black skin with scale-shaped impressions. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I need advice on what to do. Please respond.
