Usually edges of the frill will burn after time if the heat is too high and focused. Normally you dont see this in captive born animals. I have heard that mites can also be a problem. Frills skin is really thin and therefore suseptable to a ton of different problems. You should post whatthe vet says; if he wants todo a blood panel then do it. If this guy is imported then you will prbably find mroe internal issues. It is important to know what caused what and what each treatment is doing.
