A few hours most likely drowned the egg, but put it in the incubator and give it a few days to see if it does show the tell tale signs of viability or not. As a follow up to your previous Q, today was one of the days where I misted the vermiculite around one clutch of eggs that seemed to have lost a little too much water to the air than the others.
