Catawba Co. Mole King Update

The red mole king laid 15 large eggs this morning. The green one should go any day now...



Special thanks to Peter Jolles at ECC for the advice on putting dirt in the cages to give the moles a more naturalistic burrowing medium. Seemed to settle them down right away and the red one laid the very next day. Sometimes we have to think out of the box I guess. Thanks Peter!
