Follow this caresheet for RF hatchlings and they should be in excellent shape; it's the best RF caresheet I have found to date that specializes with RF hatchlings:

P.S. I think 150 Watt lamp is too much for hatchlings and mabye your guy got too hot; I would use a 100 or 60 Watt at most for the little guys. If the shell was soft that points toward metabolic bone diease; follow the caresheet with proper diet and moderate UVB exposure - I'm still trying to find out what the average intake of UVB in uW/cm^2 is on the tropical forrest floor for RF's; you can burn their eyes out if given too much UVB.
