You can supplement from time to to time, but if you are feeding them a well rounded diet meaning lots of ants and occasssional other insects they should do well in captivity. You also didn't say what specie you have either. It's veasier to answer a question when you leave us with a few more facts....but hopefully you have one lizard in a 20L cage or equivelant or a 40 gallon for a pair or trio, that would be a minimum.
