Posted by: Seiryu at Fri Aug 11 09:48:34 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Seiryu ] Right now i'm using a Sun Glo by ExoTerra 75W bulb for my 2 baby basilisk. Basking spot is about 95F (35C). I'm also using an ExoTerra Repti Glo 5.0 15W UVB bulb (18" and an ExoTerra Repti Glo 5.0 20W UVB bulb (24" which adding together is about 42" (the width of my tank). They are the tropical UVB lamps. Should i get a heat lamp as well?Overall tank temperature is about 80-83F (28-30C) I've yet to see my basilisk eat anything yet, and i got them last night. There are about 10 crickets in there right now, which have gone next to, and on my basilisk and the basilisk HAVE seen them, but don't seem to be interested. Should i buy a small feeding tank so they get used to eating crickets or let them be?Any additional help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
