Hi, I have a small wild caught mud which has taken well to captivity and now feeds readily on pellets. As a result though, it make quite a mess while feeding, and I have placed a number of cory cats in the tank to keep the mess to a minimum. In 4 hours, the 2 small cories managed to clean up the 5 days worth of food waste I had allowed to accumulate for this test. So they will definitely help keep things clean. As the hatchling is still small, he is unable to catch the catfish, but I am curious as to what will happen as the turtle grows. Will it become more aggressive towards any catfish I place in the tank? Will using a larger catfish, prevent any feeding behavior or aggression? Or will I just have to give up on the fish idea as this turtle ages? If anyone has attempted this and would like to offer their opinions it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Chris
