Yeah, they need big cage. I say for one at least a 20 gallon should be used, a 29 and 30 gallon is even better for one or a pair. I currently house my female in a 29 gallon and she is doing great. She loves hunting for the crickets in the cage. If I just clipped the back legs of the crickets and leave them in a tray for her, she doesn't really like that. She rather goes for the one that is moving really quickly, roaming around the cage.
