I keep e. helena, and have yet to encounter one who is aggressive. If anything, they tend to be easy-going--even as babies. As babies they puff their throats when threatened--while running away from the object of their unease. I can honestly say that theirs are the only enclosures in my herp room that I stick my hand into without worrying about being bitten.
Mine like to hide, but once out are alert, inquisitive, and personable.
