Just some interesting notes here in case anyone is interested. I was looking at the babies the other day and decided to see if I could sex them yet. I think I can! And, if I am right, I will be keeping the orange flame from the clutch of 5 that I hatched out and the red one from the clutch of 6 stumpies as I believe both to be females!

That said, here’s what I think I have right now:

Clutch of 5 3.2
Clutch of 6 1.4
Clutch of 4 0.4

Of course the clutch of 4 is still pretty small and I am only guessing on this one. However, if I am correct this will be a mix of 4.10 which will be a great mix for breeding! I’m pretty excited about those odds!

The sad part is that in the clutch of 4 there is one that is nice and fat and healthy looking. Has nice orange markings starting to show. However every time I pick this little girl up she rolls over in my hand, has a tremor, and looks to die! Of course I don’t believe her so I put her back in the tank and watch and sure enough her little sides get to pumping and she is breathing in no time. This morning however she laid like a little frozen Charley on the bottom with her sides barely moving. I am hoping to go home and find her back in the branches again but just don’t know what to think! She’s a scary little thing! Scared too!

Well, that’s it!
