The loss of Steve Irwin is a terrible tragedy. Even more tragic, is poor Terry having to explain to both Lil Bob and BindiSue that their papa has gone home to his mom.
I have had the brief pleasure to meet Steve and the Comedy Store in Los Angeles for a screening to an up and coming reality show he was supposed to do. It was amazing! He was so excited to see his fans, that you would have felt you were the celebrity.
Steve’s death really puts life into perspective as far as the pets we keep. Even though he died from a sting ray, many of us do play / work with deadly herps ourselves. This really brings to light that just one simple mishap and we could lose the ones we love and who love us!

Terry, Bob, Wes, and the rest of the crew, I doubt you will read this, but if you do, I hope you will carry on the work our beloved Steve has dedicated his life towards!

I have never seen a more charismatic spokesperson for wildlife conservation then Steve Irwin, and I doubt I will ever see another to his caliber. Steve you will be eternally missed.

My prayers go out to the Irwin Family and all his staff at the Australian Zoo.
