Steve Irwin was pretty much the person that got me into snakes. I watched him on TV all the time, and was one of my favorite shows. I still can't believe that he is gone. My compassion goes out to his family and friends. But he proved one thing on his death. He had dealt with the most dangerous of all animals and reptiles: crocs, gators, highly venomous snakes, large snakes, sharks, spiders, and everything else people fear, and the one that turned out fatal was a sting ray- something that people say are harmless and that they let you pet at sea world and some aquariums. Steve proved that anything can be dangerous and should be respected, not just the ones people think are deadly. I only pray that the family and friends may be comforted, and that they can get through this with as little pain as possible. For me its something I still can't believe, and i'm just crushed. May he rest in peace, and thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of reptiles, ada' go Stevo!
