Steve, I and surely many others owe a lot to you. If it wasn't for you I really wouldn't be where I am now and have found the passion for animals that I have in my life. It still seems almost unreal, and the hope that I will wake up and it just be a dream is lingering constantly. If I can ever do a fraction of what you have accomplished for wildlife, I will be completely happy with my life. I still can't believe you have moved on, Rest in peace Steve. Just know you were to me, and certainly many others, the inspiration to do what they do. My condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Irwin. This is a sad day for wildlife globally indeed, for we have lost a great warrior. Thanks for all you have done Steve, and I sorely regret never being able to meet you in person, but your spirit lives on in the new generation of conservationists today.

R.I.P. Steve o'
