Argentine B & W Eye Infection?

I have a Argentine black and white Tegu around 1 month old who i believe to have an eye infection. He is active, eats well, and has normal appearing feces. He does however sneaze from time to time. Here are linked photos of the affected right eye as well as the left eye.

If this is an eye infection is there any way of treating this without a vet visit? Would human remedies work such as ofloxacin?
