You can get a wide variety of insects to feed your HL's. I have a black light and a flood set up in my outdoor enclosure and put it on for an hour or two after sunset and many of my HL's will sit there and gorge on moths, beetles and other goodies. If you are back east you have to be more careful. There are a few insects known to cause health problems and even death. Fireflys and cichadas are two you don't want to use. There may be others.
