Terri and Steve were both very supportive in teaching the world about wildlife...if all parties involved agreed, I would think a computer image would be made public to show how it occurred (the image of Steve would be only a human figure, not detailed accuracy of Steve himself) in order for mankind not to make the same mistake in the future when swimming with stingrays...most important, (I believe) Steve and Terri would not want the public to hurt stingrays out of revenge...Steve always held himself responsible if he were bitten...and he took some nasty bites, but never lost his cool with the animal...now THAT is love and compassion...)
Whom ever owns the video, has legal say-so. I am sure however, Terri will be consulted in spite of the fact John Stainton, Steve's manager, wants the video destroyed and "to never see the light of day". (Larry King Show, September 5, 2006) Phillipe Cousteau, Jack's grandson, states the movie will be finished...with todays' technology, it will be edited for content to help ease the public heartache...only a cold hearted beast would want to make it public by using the black market in order to satisfy his/her own greed...only time will tell...we will all hold our breath as time passes
