It's kind of odd since I live in the middle of the USA and he lived in Australia but Steve Irwin really did touch my life. His enthusiasm was contagious even through a TV screen. He fanned the flame of my love for animals and helped me learn so much more about them. My heart goes out to Terri, Bindi, Bob, his father, Wes, and the rest of his family and friends. As long as I am alive he will have a fan in me.
