Im sure there are plenty more iguanas needing rescuing that would love to share your home and diet.Bearded Dragons need insects as babies but are mostly vegan as adults(better check the beardie forum to be sure). A bunny or guinea pig would love your home too.Im sure if you do your research you can find other lizards that are purely vegie and fruit eaters, I cant think of any off the top of my head though.

If you cant touch dead mice or raw meat then DONT get a Tegu.I am not a big meat eater myself and really hate dealing with raw meat but do it for my many carnivorous creatures(including ferrets) that I have, its not always fun especially cleaning up leftovers..
Tegus eat insects, mice and or ground turkey, with some veges and fruit.
