They have a tendency to not move enough to attract the frog's attention, and as they bury, they can be problematic. Mealworms also have a tendency to bite, it is possible that the lump on your frogs side is a bite wound from one of these worms. As the other post said, dusted/gutloaded crickets are the best food for your new frog. The will move much more than mealworms and hopefully attract your frogs attention. Watch the buldge, if you can see a wound on it (some sort of cut or scrape that looks red or bloody) put a very small amount of antibiotic ointment on it. Repeate this once a day. Otherwise there's not much you can do, because even if you were willing to spend money for a vet to see the frog it is probably too small for anything to be done. Best of luck.
