Hi

I have a female WD, and she has gone frantic like that about three times. I found out why she did that though, when she would hear the wheel on the vacuum cleaner sqeak, she would have one of those frantic moments. That was without even starting the vacuum cleaner. My solution - I have to put her in the bathroom with the door closed, before I even get it out of the closet and she is fine then. I have oiled the wheel, but it still bugs her.

Figure out if there is a noise like that around your house that freaks yours out also.
