Was in Ecuador on vacation for two weeks. I came home to find that my '02 female het for albino Nelsoni escaped under the care of my house sitter. It has been two days. My basement is rather small but where the cages are it is very cluttered. I have looked everywhere and since the snake is small the chances of my finding it are slim. I have set up three heated areas with a hidebox nearby. I also have create three snake traps. Created by cutting the top off a 20oz. bottle then inverting the top. Pinkies will be placed inside and once inside I am told they cannot escape. I am lowering the temp of the home to 58-60 degrees so the snake will be attracted to the heat. So... that is my plan for the basement. I am going on the assumption that the milk will not climb the 15 eight inch steps. Is this a correct assumption? If I have to look and set traps/lures throughout the house then I believe it may be a lost cause. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.
Chris
