Posted by: Tadpoleo at Fri Sep 29 09:54:46 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Tadpoleo ] The kind of substrate you are using (top soil and sphagnum) is very acidic and could be contributing to the sores on your toad's feet---immediately switch the substrate to Bed-a-Beast or Eco Earth (both brands are the same product: coconut fiber, available at pet stores like PetSmart) and keep posted----if you use Neosporin, do NOT use the kind with any painkiller in it, ok?
