Basking rock I like to keep a little hotter, its 110ish , 106,depending on where i hit it with the temp gun. They seem to like it, run up onto it, throw out a leg and sorta ahhh, nice. They warm up, and cruise around the cage some, grabbing a few ants. But , it still concerns me as to the 105 one end, 85 the other end, idea. Was thinking of getting one of the Coils, to maybe boost it some,or maybe closing in the top some with foil, to sorta keep some of the heat in?.Appreciate any ideas , scott.
