Maybe they were just a bit dehydrated when you got them? I had one of my rosys do it very sporadically when he was young and could fit into his bowl. I live in California and humidity tends to be low and the cages are well ventilated so I give mine access to water continuously. I use small bowls, however, that my adults can't get into to soak. If the behavior continues, you might want to use smaller water bowls. If they're feeding fine and otherwise healthy I wouldn't be too worried. If you're only offering water once a week, make sure not to offer it immediately before or after feeding since big drinks during this period can lead to regurgitation.
