Yes, I did - reptibark, then jungle earth! I changed his substrate to aspen on Saturday - maybe I need to give it a couple days. He does not have any mucous, wet nose, nor does he open his mouth to breathe. I tried listening near his cage a little while ago - I only hear it when I'm holding him. He is a radiated rat snake and I have heard they are temperamental - so maybe it's a defense thing. If I see any indication of a URI (mucous, lack of eating, sneezing, etc.) I will take him to a vet - we have a good one here in Memphis for reptiles.
