I would like to bypass the "dish/bowl" method by sectioning off part of the tank with plexiglass (glue it in place with aquarium sealant). I want to make this part the pacman's water pit; adding/subtracting rocks to keep up with his/her growth. I then would be able to siphon off the water for daily water changes. I keep planted fish/shrimp tanks so this would be more "normal" for me to do. I also think it will give the pacman tank a more "natural" look as I want to also add some real plants.
