My cherryheads are very gregarious.
But in my case this goes for adult females and ONE male at a time only. I cannot keep my adult males together for five minutes without them trying to kill each other.
I kept Colombian and Suriname redfoots of both sexes together years ago without there ever being a single bit of male to male conflict however. My cherryhead males are a different matter. Having said that, I know of one keeper who has a large group of cherryheads (nearly 100) that are kept in a large planted area and his males do not fight. It could be that my two males can form territories in my yard since there are only the two of them and there are a limited number of females.
Two of my females have been together for nearly ten years and they are often found near each other during the day and they usually sleep in the same shelter even though there are other places for them to choose from.
