He's been very predicible in his behaviour; he'll sleep during the day in one of the log crevices, and wake up when I turn off his heat lamp at night to croak/eat/soak/etc. However, I live in Missouri, and the weather is getting very cold, turning 60 degrees at night. I'm afraid to turn off his heat lamp, for fear of it getting to cold, and I am bothered to leave it on, because I don't want to mess up his living cycle. At the moment, he has taken a position at the bottom of the tank, nestled in some substrate, and doesn't move about the cage during the night. Is this a normal behaviour, or should I work to fix the lighting/temperature issue? Thanks in advance! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
