Hi There,
I'm new here. There is a red headed female on our lanai in Naples, FL. I call her Rusty(unfortunately, as mentioned in my other post today, I've not seen her in a few days, but that's another story...) I've been observing lizards for a while, and I was really excited when I saw her for the 1st time in June of '05. I'd never seen anything like her! Then, a few months ago, when I bent down to pick up the newspaper on my driveway, I saw ANOTHER red headed anole - this one was a young-un, about 1/2 size. Days later, I saw a TEENY TINY little one on the lanai, hanging out about 3 feet from Rusty. I got out the binoculars and lo and behold, it was a perfect little replica of Rusty herself! I named her "Mini Me". So, I believe it is very possible your fabulous redhead could produce a replica too!
