I agree basilick looks more dinosaur then dragon, I remember the old dinosaur movies when they used basilick and tegus and made them look gargantuan and terrifying.
All the species you mentioned have unique looks, but most peoples have never seen any.
Acanthosaura have it all, horns, spikes and a homogenous streamline body,
Funny when I started my dragon collection acanthosaura was the least appealing species to me, I was after all the gonos and hypsilurus, however working with them I discovered that personality ease of handling and care was most important.
not kidding if you go back to keeping this type of lizards, these capra like are the real deal.
