lighting for geckos is completely over rated. My general rule of thumb for day geckos is- If it can keep the plants alive, then its more than enough... i had a female gold dust lay 13 good eggs so far this year and its her first breeding season. i have a 20W GE light bulb on her. The reason why people push these fancy light bulbs is because people are makin money off of them
