Hello Guys

Just a few words for those interested in acanthosaura natural diets.

First id like to thank my friend Nguyen Viet Hoa for sending me photos and making observations for me.

First photo is my friend collecting acanthosaura nataliea, this is the type of habitat they live inn, locals say they sleep on branches overhanging water, where they drop and swim away if threatened. This goes to show how wrong we are when we think they live in dense forest where the sun don’t shine and its always cool, not quit accurate? They have plenty of sun and heat.

Second photo shows a specie we all know very well water dragon, yes they are sympatric and share the same habitat, at least when adult.

Last photo are observed favourite foods, these and earth worms (exactly like common north American red worms) along with mantis are mostly what’s available to wild acanthosaura.

Sorry for not sharing more with you guys, I hope you understand I need to keep material for future project.

Rgds
