All,
I recently purchased a female capra with the intent of getting her healthy again, and introducing her to my current pair. This is proving to be slightly harder than I had planned for. She has of now been treated with panacur once, with her next treatement to be on Sunday. The night of her arrival she ate two worms, (this is actually when I gave her the panacur, probably not the best time, but I wanted to give it to her on a full stomach), she threw the worms up a day and a half later partially digested. I reasoned with myself that it was many stress factors in concert with one antother, and fed her a bit of a worm a day later (for this I had to open her mouth and place the worm in, as she wouldn't eat it of her own accord as she did the first night). Last night sometime shew threw that up as well. My concern is a compromised immune system with a huge parasite load. I thought about repeating the panacur before scheduled after she threw the first worms up, but decided to wait. My question, in all of this, is first, what do you all think? Could it be something aside from parasites? Second, I'm thinking now that some kind of meat baby food might be a better way of feeding her, any suggestions as to which ones would be best? (I.e. chicken, beef etc.) I am also going to go out today and get some pedialyte to give her, as of now I've been using water, which I think will help and be better than water. Any advice would help and be appreciated.

Best Regards, Evan
