I was at Petco last night getting mice for my ball pythons, and I saw an ad for a free female water dragon. So I call the guy and my girlfriend and I go look at it. She's missing a piece of her tail, but other then that she is in excellent shape. She's 5 years old, and laid "mock eggs" about two weeks ago. She belonged to their daughter who doesn't have enough time for it anymore.
It's been a while since I've had a dragon, but I'm excited! I'll post pics later.
I had to laugh though. The first thing out of the woman's mouth is "So you have 7 snakes huh? You're not going to feed the water dragon to one of your snakes are you?"
I chuckled and said "No. I don't think any of them would eat it anyway."
They were nice people, and they were happy that the dragon was going to a good home. ----- "What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit. For what happens to the beasts, soon happens to men. All things are connected."
