Posted by: tedcoconut at Thu Aug 7 00:35:48 2003 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by tedcoconut ] I did a stupid stupid stupid thing, basically left crested gecko cage wide open. I have no excuse or explanation and yeah maybe I'm not grown up enough to have pets if I can't do something as basic as closing the cage. So I have a 3 month old crestie loose in my bedroom. This is Night 3. Should I keep tearing my apartment up looking for her or just be patient with the knowledge that when she gets cold/hungry enough she'll reappear? The problem is it's about 80 degrees here, at least, at the coldest time of day so I don't think she'll be out looking for heat any time soon. I guess I don't really need any advice (look for her in the dark of night, etc.) but... oh please cross your fingers for me or pray or light a candle or whatever you prefer. I can't stand thinking of her all alone and hungry and thirsty and lost, although I guess I should have thought of that 3 days ago when I left the stupid cage open.
