I enjoyed watching this lizard, which was very good about posing for the camera. I would love to find out what kind of lizard this is.

Location: Aguirre Spring, Near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Date: May 7, 2006. Arid mountainous terrain. The lizard was basking on a boulder in the morning. Size was fairly small as lizards go.

Thanks in advance for any ID help!
