Posted by: budlightsnoopy at Sun Nov 12 10:12:33 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by budlightsnoopy ] I purchased 2 firebelly newts for my son on Friday and the larger of the two while in the water will keep its mouth open and has what appears to be a cloudy "ball" that prohibits it from closing its mouth. While basking on the log however, it seems to be able to close its mouth. Any idea if this is normal, i'm thinking its not since the other doesnt do this. I would dare say that there is something wrong with it and i dont think eating is a possibility in this condition. Any help would be appreciated in treating this. thanks [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
