I also use the brick of coconut bedding which I keep moist by spraying every day or every few days. I would avoid peat moss as it contains twigs which can become ingested (this has happened to me, I dissected the frog after it died). Also, peat moss is acidic, way too acidic for frogs in my opinion. As for feeding, I would feed a growing frog almost as much as it wants to eat. 2-3 crickets or even more everyday. As it becomes and adult you should only feed it a few crickets 2 times a week or so. What is more important than anything with growing horned frogs is that you dust the crickets with calcium and vitamin supplement at least once or twice a week.
