okay...so... is it better to let a Tegu hibernate, not hibernate?...or does it really matter?

I've read a few things...and they basically say that it is beneficial for breeding purposes...but i'm not planning on breeding...

I do however, want to do some educational shows, and if my tegu is in hibernation from september to april, that could potentially conflict...although, if it is best for her, then she can hibernate all she wants...

My animals welfare is my # 1 priority, much more important than a show, or anything of the sort.

thanks for your input in advance!
