First off, 4 inches is a good size for a white's tree frog. Secondly, white's tree frogs are named after the scientist that discovered them, not after their color, so a white's is green after all. (actually they range in color from brown to bluish green) You may want to do a little research before getting a frog next time eh?

If you wanted something for your daughter to handle, I would have suggested a lizard or some sort, a beardie or something in that line. There are so many things on our skin that can harm frogs and children do not always follow proper hygiene procedures (as in washing the hands the right way). No offense meant there, I work in a daycare and what some of the children consider clean.

I think my frog owns a megaphone....
