Baytril is an antibiotic, and should not be used as a dewormer. Also, while it MAY be used to treat SOME harmful microbes in the intestinal tract, that would be like killing a mouse with a bazooka.
There are various different antibiotics and dewormers that are useful with turtles, and it really depends on what your turtle was diagnosed with. Metronidazole (flagyl) and Fenbendazole (Panacur) are two that are probably the most commonly used. Metronidazole is a great intestinal antibiotic and Fenbendazole is a fairly broad spectrum dewormer. However, other parasites (Cestodes for example) would require something different. Try searching this website's tool for finding a herp Vet. in your area. If you're desperate, and a good Vet. cannot be found, Panacur is a very safe and broad spectrum dewormer. Best of all, it's available over the counter. Just be aware that it's not designed to kill every type of parasite.
P.s. I'm not a Vet. I just feel that I should say that.
