Hi,

I have a young ball python (about 16 inches) and he is currently eating 1 small mouse every 5-6 days. My question is, he will only eat live food and once he grows bigger I know they recommend feeding them rats, but we are planning to move to Alberta in the next year and live rats in Alberta are illegal.

Is it ok to feed several mice instead of one rat and how do you get them to eat several food items if he wants just one? (read that it might be a problem)

Also any tricks to get him to eat tawed? Previous owner tried but failed in every attempt (don't know what he did though) and how long should I let him settle in before trying to change his diet?
