We all went for a nice long walk looking for herps. I was hoping to find hognose and Five-lined skinks. Jason found the first snake of the day, a very gravid redbelly snake. We also found several other Redbellys, a garter and 2 ribbon snakes. Jason flipped one very large rock and found a five-lined skink and in te process of trying to catch it e discovered that there was also a Ringneck Snake in the crevace of the rock. He abandonned attempts to catch the skink and grabbed the ringneck. This was a great find since niether of us had found a wild one before. We later managed to catch a 5-lined skink.
