I'm not sure I can decide. One was finding all those soft shells in July. Never seen them before. Of course the spotty was cool as well, and the hognose was neat, though I kinda cheated (it was being radio-tracked.) I'd have to say, though, that if I had to pick only one event, it'd have to be finding red-backed salamanders at Oakville creek.
