Hello,

To those of you North of the border working with or interested in Corucia zebrata (underlined), a scientific paper
comparing the differences between Corucia zebrata zebrata (underlined) and Corucia zebrata alfredschmidti is available on the U.S. Kingsnake Academic/Scientific Journal Forum.

One aspect of the comparative differences is that Corucia zebrata zebrata (underlined)has a white sclera and Corucia zebrata alfredschmidti (underlined) has a black sclera.

The complete description of the two subspecies will better aid in identification and proper pairing of these unique and endangered members of the Scincidae.
