We have just picked up a trio of Savu Pythons (2 females/1 male), and are hoping to breed them.
We live in Scotland, and Savus are very rare over here in the UK-of only a handful available they are all wild caught. Unfortunately, the one or two people who have managed to breed them are not for sharing their secrets! This is such a shame, as more captive breeding would ease the pressure on wild populations.
At the moment we are keeping them in separate 45x45x60 Exo Terra vivs, with a substrate of orchid bark and sphagnum moss. They have branches on which to climb and a humidity of around 70%. Temps are around 27 degrees.
Has anyone got any information on breeding, as there is virtually nothing available on the internet.
