This is the same great product as our CoCo Bedding except this one offers a New “Chunkier” and more fiberous Consistency for better Drainage & Aeration in Wet Habitats!
•Makes 8-9 quarts of Bedding •Humidifies •Easy-To-Use •100% Natural •Renewable •Biodegradable •Non-Toxic •Excellent Water Retention •Long Lasting: Up to 5 Years
Premium Plant Grade! Not all Coir Bricks can be considered equal! Did you know that many popular “Reptile Bedding” Quality bricks have high levels of salts that are unsafe for horticultural use and planted terrariums? Why take a chance with other “Bargain Brands” when you can be Guaranteed getting the Highest Quality with Black Jungle’s CoCo Bedding? We sell only the finest grade coir that has been tried and tested in the horticultural market. As a matter of fact, it is the same coir used in Holland by commercial growers who purchase crop protection insurance!
Dendro Bedding is a ground coconut fiber that is terrific for use as a wet vivarium bedding or loose plant substrate. If offers excellent water holding capacity yet drains extremely well. This is a renewable resource and can be used in place of peat moss, is 100% natural and is biodegradable. It doesn't turn into a rotting mush in wet environments because it degrades very slowly, lasting up to 5 years! This product requires a soil amendment such as Dyna Gro Fertilizer (sold separately) when used as a potting media for live plants to add additional nutrients to the “soil”.
