I have a snapping turtle and am considering getting a smooth softshell. Does anyone think that other than the fact the softshells require sand with no rocks, there care is very similar? They both are messy and aggresive and can become quite large. However, snappers dont really swim at all (or at least mine doesn't, I think she's actually too fat for herself to even support her weight!) while softshells swim a lot...I think.

Thankssss
