The Salmon is a bloodline of Hypo started by Rich Ihle, from breeding a Panamanian Hypo to a Colombian. Before understanding that it was a Hypomelanistic trait it was given the name Salmon because of the colors.

Salmons are mutts, mixed locale Boa constrictor imperator subspecies.

They have been bred to El Salvador Blood boas, Sonoran Leopards, Colombians, and Nicaraguans, that is just on the BCI side of things. (Also Hog Islands but technically they were never classified as B.c.imperator.)

Salmons have also been bred to Argentine B.c.occidentalis to create Salmontines, and have been bred to B.c.constrictor from Guyana and Suriname.
